Colin Allred stands with anti-Israel extremists and promotes policies that hurt Israel.
- Supports the Palestinian position in the two-state dispute against Israel and resumption of U.S. financial assistance to Palestine.1
- Supports and encourages the U.S. to re-enter the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal.2
- Rep. Colin Allred was a signatory, along with 144 additional Democrats, on a letter calling for a lift on a hold of tens of millions of dollars in aid to Gaza. Earlier this year, Allred signed two other letters that urged tens of millions of taxpayer dollars be sent to Gaza.
- Colin Allred voted against a motion to provide Israel’s Iron Dome system with at least $73 million in emergency funding, $177 million for short-range ballistic missile defense, and $77 million for Israel’s Arrow III program, which is a sophisticated missile system that intercepts incoming munitions higher in the sky.
- In 2019, Rep. Colin Allred voted against a motion to commit S.J. Res. 7 to include language condemning the BDS movement against Israel and all efforts to “delegitimize the State of Israel.”
- In August 2019, Allred criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his decision to prohibit Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from visiting Israel due to their support for the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement.
- Staunchly defends Representative Ilhan Omar (MN-05), a fierce critic of Israel and antisemitic.3
- Has longstanding ties to the special interest group J Street, which has been considered an Anti-Israel front group.
- J Street PAC is one of Allred’s largest contributors, having raised $191,325 for his campaign.4
- The J Street Education Fund paid for Rep. Allred to visit Israel and Palestine in February 2023.5 The trip included meetings with Palestinian activists including Bashar Azzeh, a member of the PLO national council
- Voted against protecting the Israeli government’s counterterrorism efforts from a Rep. Ilhan Omar bill directing the state department with monitoring so-called “Islamophobia” in foreign countries.6
- Cozies up to anti-Israel extremists, including Imam Omar Suleiman, who has wished for a third Palestinian Intifada, or violent uprising, likened Israeli troops to Nazis, and has wished for the end of Zionism, calling Zionists “the enemies of God.”7 Suleiman has also recently accused both Israel and America of “genocide,” defended “Lady al Qaeda,” accused Israel of “terrorism,” mocked those “concerned and praying” for Israel, and condemned Israel for defending itself against heinous attacks from Hamas terrorists.
- Allred has hosted meetings with the North Texas DSA and American Muslims for Palestine – Texas. A former Allred campaign fellow was the president of the Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Texas at Dallas.
- Allred was a speaker on a digital panel titled, “Black Lives Matter is a Jewish value.”
- Allred has received donations from Azhar Azeez and Nichole Mossalam. Azeez was the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which is a group that the Daily Caller reported has “long-standing ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation terror financing case.” Nichole Mossalam is a socialist who led a mosque with an alarming history, including the fact that its first president was a convicted terrorist and raised money for Al-Qaeda.
